"Acid is the name/Heavy metal is the game," Kate decries on Acid's namesake tune (a textbook example of early-'80s Euro speed metal, if ever there was one), and ensuing numbers like "Demon," "Hooked on Metal," "Five Days in Hell," and "Satan" point even more obviously to the above conclusion.9/

Jan 14,  · AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH acid is the name hm is the game, that first came blasting out of my speakers when i bought this lp some 33 years back in , this was the best acid lp of the 3 i remember from those days so long ago, this was a total classic and all us metal fans loved it, this was released on a label called giant out of belgium and the quality of both the sleeve and record is fantastic /5().

Picked this up on a Decibel magazine recommendation - they suggested this may be the best Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats album. I think I might concur. Track #3, Dead Eyes of London - and its primary riff - is absolutely killer. Imagine Queens of the Stone Age when Queens of the Stone Age were still good, but with Uncle Acid vocals. Amazing/5(47).

With that in mind, Clash asked Richy Ahmed to name 7 Of The Best tracks from the Acid House era. - - - 1. Abe Duque - 'Acid' It’s not like an old school 90s acid track, it’s quite modern - maybe about eight or nine years old - but it’s so cool and throbbing, the vocal’s amazing. It’s a modern classic; I still play it in some of my sets.
